The Nicosia Karting Club is a non profit organisation.  It was founded in November 2000 and its aims are:

• The promotion of Karting and motorsport in Cyprus
• The study of issues relating to motrosport in relation to the conditions prevailing in Cyprus
• The tightening of relationships between Cypriot and foreign drivers
• To provide every possible assistance to its members, improve their knowledge and develop the necessary skills to compete in motorsport events in Cyprus and overseas
• The promotion of activities of general interest to the club members
• Social Contribution

The Nicosia Karting Club has been authorised to conduct the National Karting Championship since 2001.
